About Me

My photo
Welcome. My name is Lisa and I live on a farm in Northeastern PA. I have a wonderful husband of over 30 years and two fabulous sons. One with a wonderful wife and another with a wonderful girlfriend. I have a 6 year old granddaughter and an 4 year old grandson. We have a dog, two cats, and 5 horses. I started into this art as a possible scrapbooker until my good friend Lou Ann (SCS Crooked Stamper) invited me to a Stampin' Up party. Now I'm hooked. We had to turn a room of our home into a craft room for all my stuff. Then I needed a second craft room and did classes. Then I decided to open an in home store using three more rooms of our home. Between Lou Ann (Crafter and IT department) and Mary Ann (Crafter and Jewelry department) and a few other friends, I'm having the time of my life!!!!

Lou Ann's Birthday

As I promised yesterday (or last night) I have the Birthday Card I did for Lou Ann.  We have been friends for decades and whenever we go to a scrapbook convention or overnight swap we always room together.  We both like to go to sleep with the TV on (Criminal Minds, if we can find it) and LOVE our Pepsi.   The perfect roomie.
But, back to last night, most of the NEPA (Northest PA) Gigglers were there to celebrete and shower her with great cards.  Wish you could see them all.  If you go to Diane's Blog you can see the adorable card she made for Lou Ann.  Anyway, here is mine:

It's a double Z fold, which are SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOO easy!  A 5 1/2 X 12 scored at 2, 4, 8, 10 inches and make a couple "Z's".  Splitcoast has a tutorial on it if you like it.  I couldn't find a die cut that really fit for the sentiment, so I just cut it by hand.   And here is the inside.....

Stamps:  SU Happiest Birthday Wishes
Paper:  SU So Saffron, Lucky Limeade, Naturals White; Prima Paper Sun Kiss
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories:  Flower (Prima Flowers Sun Kiss); Antique brad, 2 round buttons; lace
Tools:  Button shank remover

  1. Ohhhh so beautiful! I love that crochete looking lace. :) This is one of my favorite folds too. Oh, I too am a fan of Pepsi...yum, good stuff!

Thank you so much for your very kind comment on my blog regarding OCC. That was very sweet of you.
    I hope you're having a good week!
    Lisa xx

    1. Well, the love of Pepsi puts you on the roomie list if we're ever in the same town!

  2. Lisa, this is great and I apologize for saying it wasn't a z-fold! But I was half right. LOL. I kinda like Sheila's title of a Double D fold...ha ha ha...wow...that would be one BIG card! ;)

    1. No need to apologize. You also emailed my with the right name. Do you think that the new scor-pal book will have the Double D fold.
