About Me

My photo
Welcome. My name is Lisa and I live on a farm in Northeastern PA. I have a wonderful husband of over 30 years and two fabulous sons. One with a wonderful wife and another with a wonderful girlfriend. I have a 6 year old granddaughter and an 4 year old grandson. We have a dog, two cats, and 5 horses. I started into this art as a possible scrapbooker until my good friend Lou Ann (SCS Crooked Stamper) invited me to a Stampin' Up party. Now I'm hooked. We had to turn a room of our home into a craft room for all my stuff. Then I needed a second craft room and did classes. Then I decided to open an in home store using three more rooms of our home. Between Lou Ann (Crafter and IT department) and Mary Ann (Crafter and Jewelry department) and a few other friends, I'm having the time of my life!!!!

Live in the Moment

I did this tag after the fourth color of Tim Holtz's Color of the Month came out, and I used all four.
Here is a tag that I did for a class several months ago.  It combines Tim Holtz, who I LOVE, with Gabrielle Pollacco, who I also LOVE.
First I got a Ranger #10 Manilla Tag.  Then, I used Tim Holtz Distress paints in Cracked Pistachio and Mermaid Lagoon.  I painted them diagonally to look like the sunshine coming through the water.
I cut out the sand dollars and Sea horse with Tim's Sea and Sand Movers and Shapers dies.  The sand dollar is on off white paper and distressed with Walnut Stain Distress ink.  I didn't want it just floating in the middle of the tag, so I cut it in two and placed it on the bottom and side.  The Sea horse was cut with Tim's Grungboard, painted with Mermaid Lagoon.  On top of that is Tim's Rock Candy Crackle Paint.  I just love how that ages things.  Then I smeared more Walnut Stain ink on it with my finger.  It's so fun to get messy.
For the stamping I used a SU coral with Abandoned Coral Paint.  I really liked how it turned out, but beware.....clean your stamp right away after using paint!     I stamped the sentiment on another piece of off white paper and cut it with a Spellbinders Deckled Rectange die.   I left the die on the paper and inked it with Fossilized Amber Ink .  It makes a perfect frame.  Next I stamped the net with Gabi's Dandilion Stamps .  And for the bubbles I used Gabi's Texture Stamp Set.  After highlighting with my White Uniball Pen you'd swear the bubbles were raised up from the tag.
The ribbon was a white sheer and I just sprayed some Fossilized Amber Spray Stain on my Ranger Non Stick Craft Sheet and sopped up the ink with the ribbon.  Easy Peasy!

The best part is that all this stuff is 25% off until January 31, 2016.

Thanks for looking!
