About Me

My photo
Welcome. My name is Lisa and I live on a farm in Northeastern PA. I have a wonderful husband of over 30 years and two fabulous sons. One with a wonderful wife and another with a wonderful girlfriend. I have a 6 year old granddaughter and an 4 year old grandson. We have a dog, two cats, and 5 horses. I started into this art as a possible scrapbooker until my good friend Lou Ann (SCS Crooked Stamper) invited me to a Stampin' Up party. Now I'm hooked. We had to turn a room of our home into a craft room for all my stuff. Then I needed a second craft room and did classes. Then I decided to open an in home store using three more rooms of our home. Between Lou Ann (Crafter and IT department) and Mary Ann (Crafter and Jewelry department) and a few other friends, I'm having the time of my life!!!!

MOJO249 Little Princess

A few weeks ago the Ribbon Carousel (RCC59) had a challenge hosted by Laurel Seabrook for paper piecing.  Unfortunately, I didn't get to it and the challenge is over.  But I kept it in mind just to do a paper piecing card.  As I was wondering what to do as the background I thought that this week's MOJO249 sketch callenge by Carole Burrage would be great.

Here's my little sweetie.  She is from Penny Johnson and the stamp name is Sweet Dreams.  I used Copic markers for her face, hands, toes (E0000, E00, E50 & R20) and hair (E21 & E25).  I used a gold metallic pen for her candle holder, Glossy Accents for the candle (wax, you know) & Copics markers Y02 & Yll for the candle light.
For her hair I used E21 & E25.  I also left some of her hair uncolored like the light was glowing on it.  I'm still working on my copic talents.  Wish me luck on that one.        Hope you enjoy.
