About Me

My photo
Welcome. My name is Lisa and I live on a farm in Northeastern PA. I have a wonderful husband of over 30 years and two fabulous sons. One with a wonderful wife and another with a wonderful girlfriend. I have a 6 year old granddaughter and an 4 year old grandson. We have a dog, two cats, and 5 horses. I started into this art as a possible scrapbooker until my good friend Lou Ann (SCS Crooked Stamper) invited me to a Stampin' Up party. Now I'm hooked. We had to turn a room of our home into a craft room for all my stuff. Then I needed a second craft room and did classes. Then I decided to open an in home store using three more rooms of our home. Between Lou Ann (Crafter and IT department) and Mary Ann (Crafter and Jewelry department) and a few other friends, I'm having the time of my life!!!!

Let's Go For A Ride MOJO458

I haven't done a challenge in months, and with the great inspiration of a card sketch, it's a win - win.  Stop on over to Julee's blog and play along.  When you make your project, be sure to link it to her blog so we can all see it.                        It may not look like a good day for a ride in Northeastern PA where I'm from because of all the heat and no rain, but it looks like a cool ride on this when you're looking at the soft colors of this card.

This is a super easy card to put together.  I used Maja Design Summertime paper. that I LOVE LOVE LOVE!  The Let's Go For A Ride on the banners comes from the bottom strip in the 12 x 12 paper.  Just a little extra touch.  I don't have a banner die, and I didn't want to bend the paper, so i just put a strip in my 1" square punch.  I also don't have an arrow die, so I used two square Spellbinder square dies to cut the arrow, and I used my Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders die for the stitching.  I used JustRite's Large Fancy Sentiments for the Just Because.  I used my EZ Runner Grand for the big stuff and my Tombow glue pen for the arrow.    TFL
