About Me

My photo
Welcome. My name is Lisa and I live on a farm in Northeastern PA. I have a wonderful husband of over 30 years and two fabulous sons. One with a wonderful wife and another with a wonderful girlfriend. I have a 6 year old granddaughter and an 4 year old grandson. We have a dog, two cats, and 5 horses. I started into this art as a possible scrapbooker until my good friend Lou Ann (SCS Crooked Stamper) invited me to a Stampin' Up party. Now I'm hooked. We had to turn a room of our home into a craft room for all my stuff. Then I needed a second craft room and did classes. Then I decided to open an in home store using three more rooms of our home. Between Lou Ann (Crafter and IT department) and Mary Ann (Crafter and Jewelry department) and a few other friends, I'm having the time of my life!!!!

Some Bunny

This card is the third of Verve's Vivalaverve Challenge.  I had to get a little creative (lol) with the spellbenders.  I cut two Fleur De Lis squares and cut one of them in half to make a Fleur De Lis "Rectangle".  And that little heart on the bunny?  That's a negative of the spellbinder Heart circles.  (I don't throw out much)The rest explains itself.

Hooked on You

I'm Hooked on You

This is a manly card that I made using some new things I just got from ScrapbookPal.
To start I used a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" base of retired Stampin' Up cardstock Bordering Blue.  On the right side of the card I used the Hooked on Fishing dsp from Paper Loft.  It's double sided paper and I cut a 5 1/2" by 3" piece.  I cut the paper in thirds and flipped the center piece so the I had fish for the ends and stripes in the center.  I then cut a 5 1/2" X 1" piece of the striped paper and attched it left of center.   I used some scrap cream cardstock and my Cricut with my Elegant Edges cartridge.  I did the loops design at 2 1/2".

The stamps that I used came from the Pink by Design Animated Greetings , So many cute greetings, I didn't know which one to use first.  The other set I used was the retired Stampin' Up set "Fishing".  For that I used the fishing pole and the lures.

The ink I used was Memento Tuxedo Black for the greeting and fishing pole, Stampin' Up Bordering Blue for the lure background, and Color Box Creamy Brown for distressing the loops.

This is where the fun really started.  I got a We R Memory Sew Easy Stitch Piercer Tool and We R Memory Sew Easy Piercing Mat and in a snap, I had holes all set to sew.  I used old blue floss.

I'M HOOKED ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
